Amos Anderson - an incredibly assertive proposal!

The Amos Anderson Museum proposal for Helsingin Lasipalatsi is an important step forward for Helsinki. First, it brings together existing Finnish resources and networks to create something that the Guggenheim proposal would never achieve. Second, it will be a showpiece for Finnish artwork and artistic innovation. Third, it will be cost effective for taxpayers both in Helsinki and in Finland. Fourth it will be an original cultural attraction not some franchising look alike. When people visit Helsinki they really do want to see what and who we are.
